Legion Investment Group completes recapitalization for Upper East Side parcels

Legion Investment Group, working alongside co-developer SMA Equities, completed the recapitalization of three residential parcels on New York’s Upper East Side, according to ConnectCRE.

Demolition of the existing structures on the site is already underway, the outlet said, as the partners move toward redevelopment of the properties.

ConnectCRE reported that the team is closing on 201 E. 84th St., described as a corner assemblage intended for a new residential development.

The outlet also said the recapitalization involved advisory support from Walker & Dunlop Capital Markets Institutional Advisory.
