Nor'easter hammers US Northeast, disrupting flights and power

The storm forced the cancellation of hundreds of flights and left tens of thousands of people without power, with New York, Boston and Philadelphia among the hardest hit areas.
Authorities warned of potential major flooding and road closures, and the National Weather Service said the system is expected to bring major coastal flooding to the mid-Atlantic coast over multiple high tide cycles through the weekend.
