Trump pushes use of 'superintelligence' instead of AI in US government
US President Donald Trump is urging a rebrand of artificial intelligence, saying US government documents should use the term “superintelligence,” or SI, to refer to the fast evolving technology. Trump said the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday that he is also looking to bring China into the shift.
The same day, the US State Department ordered US diplomats to use SI instead of AI in all communications going forward, according to the Associated Press, as reported by SCMP Economy.
