Payward, Kraken parent, targets financial infrastructure beyond crypto trading

CoinDesk reports that Kraken parent Payward is reorganizing its businesses to focus on becoming financial infrastructure rather than operating solely as a crypto exchange.

The company is aiming to unify trading, payments, asset management, and institutional services on shared platforms, according to CoinDesk.

CoinDesk adds that Payward co-CEO Arjun Sethi discussed the strategy as part of its effort to expand beyond exchange activity.
