Marsh appoints Alexander Reath to lead US real estate practice

Reath, based in Boston, will oversee Marsh Risk’s US real estate work across multiple asset classes and will report to Darren Cromwell.

Marsh has appointed Alexander Reath as its new US Real Estate and Hospitality Practice Leader within Marsh Risk, the firm said.

Based in Boston, Reath will report to Darren Cromwell, Industry Practice Group Leader for Marsh Risk in the US and Canada.

In the role, Reath will lead the US Real Estate practice across the sector’s various asset classes, coordinating Marsh teams to develop market strategies, assemble specialist resources, and support clients with risk solutions tailored to their needs.

Reath joins with more than 25 years of experience in property insurance, including more than a decade leading Marsh’s New England Property practice, most recently serving as US Property Real Estate Leader.
