Steady Technologies secures new funding and names top executives

The company expects to launch its Owner Launch platform in October to help property managers enroll landlord customers and manage insurance subscriptions and renewals.

Steady Technologies has received new financing from existing investors, and the company did not disclose the amount raised, Coverager reports. The insurtech appointed Ryan Collins as CEO and Jin Hwang as president and COO.

Steady provides insurance compliance and risk management tools for single-family rental owners and property managers, including its Nationwide-backed Owner Protect suite. The suite is designed to address risks such as rent default, eviction, squatters, and excess pet damage.

The company also plans to launch Owner Launch in October, a platform for property managers to enroll landlord customers, offer insurance products, and manage subscriptions and renewals. Coverager notes that Steady has partnered with Avail, the Chicago-based renting support company, to offer landlords rent guarantee insurance.
