Tokio Marine GX expands partner ecosystem for green transition risks
The unit says its platform now covers 18 distinct areas of green transition risk, with premium diversification beyond its renewables core.
Tokio Marine GX has launched a nine-partner ecosystem intended to cover the full green transition value chain, including risk areas tied to nuclear, marine, carbon credits, and clean energy technology, as well as private credit expertise.
The underwriting business was launched by Tokio Marine Holdings in May 2025 to provide specialist insurance and risk management solutions for firms looking to decarbonize operations and pursue green opportunities.
Tokio Marine GX says the expanded offering now covers 18 distinct areas of green transition risk, extending beyond its renewables core and diversifying premium exposure, including specialist partners such as Ariel Green for clean energy technology performance insurance and Ocean Special Risks for marine risk underwriting.
Other named partners in the ecosystem include Artio Carbon for carbon credit insurance and New Energy Risk for cleantech technology performance, with Avondale Private Capital handling private credit expertise and Cedar Crown covering forest and land risks.
