ANV completes acquisition of Car Care Plan to expand motor warranty platform
ANV completed the deal on schedule at the end of September, adding Car Care Plan’s motor warranty and related repair businesses across the US, Europe, Turkey and China.
ANV Group Holdings has completed its acquisition of Car Care Plan (CCP) from AmTrust Financial Services, adding the UK motor warranty provider to ANV’s Credit & Protection platform, according to Insurance Business. The deal was first announced on August 24 and closed at the end of September as scheduled, with terms not disclosed.
The transaction also includes Dent Wizard Ventures, which provides mobile bodywork, paint and alloy wheel repair, along with CCP’s subsidiaries in the US, Europe, Turkey and China, Insurance Business reported. ANV said it has not disclosed whether CCP’s business will be placed under the same 10-year capacity arrangement that covers the existing books of business written through MGAs spun into the platform.
Insurance Business added that ANV was formed in December 2025, when AmTrust and funds managed by Blackstone Credit & Insurance spun off a portfolio of AmTrust MGAs and fee-based businesses in the US, UK and Continental Europe into an independent company.
Under that 10-year capacity agreement, AmTrust remains the underwriter for the existing books of business written through those MGAs, the outlet said. ANV is led by chairman and CEO Adam Karkowsky, formerly AmTrust’s president.
