Augmont Enterprises hits record high and 10% upper circuit again
The latest surge follows Augmont Enterprises being empanelled by the NSE as a key partner to promote Electronic Gold Receipts.
Augmont Enterprises’ share price climbed to a record high of ₹1,062.20, hitting the 10% upper circuit for a second straight session on Tuesday, 29 September, according to LiveMint Markets.
The stock has gained more than 24.47% over the past week and delivered 17% returns since its listing on 31 August, the outlet reported.
LiveMint Markets said the move came after the company was empanelled by the National Stock Exchange of India as a key partner to promote Electronic Gold Receipts, with a partnership intended to simplify Electronic Gold Receipts creation and extinguishment and to support trading in EGRs.
In an exchange filing dated 26 September, Augmont Enterprises described the collaboration as a way to leverage its gold value-chain expertise to strengthen EGR digital infrastructure and provide technical and on-ground support for product development, aiming to enable regulated conversion between physical gold and EGRs.
