CBH tops 22 million tonnes in record annual grain outturn

CBH said the outturn total is still expected to rise before its 2026 financial year ends on Sept. 30, as several vessels remain in loading.

CBH Group, Australia’s largest grower-owned cooperative, set a new record for annual grain outturn, surpassing its prior peak of 21.93 million tonnes from 2023 to push beyond 22 million tonnes during the financial year, according to World Grain.

With several vessels still loading, CBH said the final outturn number is set to grow before its 2026 financial year ends Sept. 30.

World Grain reports CBH said the scale of Western Australian farmers’ bigger crops continues to drive record outturns across its grower-owned network, which matches record harvests.

CBH’s storage and handling system receives and exports about 90% of Western Australian grain harvest, including wheat, barley, canola and oats, and the company has been investing in its supply chain capabilities since 2022 to build peak monthly outturn capacity of 3 million tonnes.
