Duck Creek launches AI-powered agentic FNOL to automate claims intake
The AI solution is designed to automate information gathering, validation, and routing from the moment a claim is reported across digital, mobile, and voice-to-text channels.
Duck Creek, an insurance technology provider focused on core systems and digital capabilities for insurers, has introduced Agentic First Notice of Loss, an AI-powered claims intake solution aimed at automating parts of the process from first report.
According to Reinsurance News, the new Agentic FNOL uses Duck Creek’s Agentic AI Platform, which coordinates multiple AI agents to process claims information submitted through digital, mobile, and voice-to-text channels.
The company said the technology is designed to tackle issues tied to traditional FNOL workflows, including incomplete information, manual data entry, and delays in routing claims to the appropriate handling teams.
Duck Creek added that Agentic FNOL is meant to improve the quality of information captured at first contact, reduce administrative work, and support faster claims processing, with Jose Lazares, Chief Product Officer, noting that first notice of loss sets the trajectory for the overall claims experience.
