Honasa Consumer shares fall after block deal worth ₹643.4 crore
The block trade priced shares at ₹450 each, about a 3.4% discount to the prior close, and represented 4.4% of the company’s outstanding equity.
Honasa Consumer Ltd. shares fell on Tuesday, September 29, after a sizable block transaction was executed shortly after the market opened, putting the stock under pressure during the session, LiveMint Markets reported.
The deal involved around 1.4 crore shares, equal to 4.4% of the company’s outstanding equity, exchanged at an average price of ₹450 per share. That valued the transaction at about ₹643.4 crore, roughly 3.4% below the prior closing price.
After the block deal, the stock declined as much as 4.8% to an intraday low of ₹443.70 per share on the BSE. Honasa Consumer was also among the most actively traded counters across the BSE and NSE during the session.
LiveMint Markets said the identities of the buyers and sellers were not immediately available, and that the block deal was larger than earlier media reports suggested.
