Soho House launches probe after outdated food was allegedly mislabelled
Soho House has launched an investigation after out-of-date food was allegedly mislabelled in a kitchen at its Shoreditch House venue in East London, according to the Guardian Business.
The report says a health and safety complaint was received by Hackney council and that the club apologized after a former employee posted a video on TikTok.
Soho House said the employee’s contract was terminated for reasons unrelated to the complaint, while the club declined to tie the firing to the alleged labeling issue, the outlet reported.
The story also notes that Soho House membership charges up to £4,500 a year, based on the report.
