Aviva extends fintech partnership with Founders Factory for three more years

The decade-long tie-up has backed more than 60 startups that have raised over £500 million since 2016.

Aviva is extending its exclusive fintech partnership with Founders Factory, committing to invest for another three years in startups focused on insurance, wealth, property, asset management, and cybersecurity, according to Coverager.

The new ventures are expected to use AI and frontier technologies to develop ways for customers to manage and protect their money, health, and families.

Coverager adds that the partnership, which has already run for a decade, has supported more than 60 startups and generated over £500 million in investment since 2016, including mortgage platform Tembo and Marrow, which connects AI agents to insurers' pricing, underwriting, and policy administration systems.

Aviva said the offering supports its plan to grow its global commercial insurance business, and it has made its Direct Line branded home insurance products available through price comparison websites for the first time.
