TrustLayer to acquire PolicyReview to expand AI third-party risk tools
The deal, announced Sept. 29, 2026, adds an AI-native commercial policy analysis company to TrustLayer’s platform, with terms not disclosed.
TrustLayer, an AI-powered third-party risk management firm, said it has entered an agreement to acquire PolicyReview, an AI-native commercial insurance policy analysis company, as part of its expansion in third-party risk management. The companies did not disclose the terms of the transaction.
TrustLayer highlighted its network and broker support, saying it operates with a network of more than 517,000 companies, has backing from leading venture investors, and more than 20 of the top 100 U.S. insurance brokers.
In comments carried by Coverager, TrustLayer co-founder and CEO John Fohr said the company has built the network, technology, and expertise to improve how businesses manage third-party risk, and described PolicyReview as a strategic addition to what TrustLayer has built.
