WTI edges higher after Iran parliament speaker warns on regional oil sales

WTI was trading near its daily low around $91.60 following the comments, indicating a modest response in crude markets during the European session.

Iran's parliament speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf said during the European trading session on Tuesday that no one in the region should sell its oil if Iran cannot sell its oil, according to state media, as Reuters reported.

Qalibaf also warned that if Iran has no security, then no regional infrastructure would be safe.

FXStreet noted slight buying interest in WTI oil, the US benchmark crude, which was near its day low at around $91.60 after the remarks.
