Zurich Australia links Tesla FSD (Supervised) to lower InsureMyTesla pricing

Zurich said the pricing change is based on its assessment of reduced risk tied to the feature, and it cited Tesla data showing fewer collisions for FSD (Supervised) vehicles.

Zurich Australia has added Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (Supervised) feature as a rating factor for its InsureMyTesla policy, offering eligible owners a lower insurance price based on the reduced risk the insurer associates with use of the technology, according to Coverager.

The insurer described the move as the first of its kind in Australia and the second globally, saying the updated offering draws on both local and international Tesla data.

Coverager also noted that Tesla said vehicles using FSD (Supervised) have seven times fewer major or minor collisions than regular EVs, and that FSD (Supervised) launched in Australia and New Zealand in October 2025.

Zurich said local Tesla customers have logged more than 132 million kilometers using the feature, and that average daily usage has risen more than fivefold since the launch, as reported by Coverager.
