Base launches Cobalt upgrade with conditional transactions
The upgrade adds a new transaction type that can wait until specified price or block conditions are met, and introduces additional functions for B20-issued assets.
Base has launched its Cobalt upgrade, introducing conditional transactions and new functions for assets issued under its B20 standard, according to The Block.
The latest Base update allows traders to submit transactions that remain dormant until predefined price or block conditions are satisfied.
The Defiant also reports that Cobalt includes three changes tied to the B20 token standard, which is used behind Coinbase’s tokenized stocks, and that the documentation for the new transaction method lists it as running on test networks.
