TD Cowen says bitcoin is shifting toward capital markets infrastructure

TD Cowen made the assessment in a Tuesday note after attending a BitcoinTreasuries Conference in New York.

Bitcoin is increasingly being discussed by institutions as financial infrastructure rather than only an investable asset, according to TD Cowen, as summarized by Bitcoin Magazine.

The investment bank said the shift is moving bitcoin toward supporting capital markets activity and institutional products, after it attended a BitcoinTreasuries Conference in New York this week.

Bitcoin Magazine also notes that major banks globally are taking a deeper interest in the technology behind bitcoin, offering crypto products to customers and to streamline their own services.
