Burlington Stores signs 31,717-square-foot lease at Brooklyn Navy Yard

The off-price retailer is expected to open the under-construction space in fall 2027, with 7,000 square feet still available at the building.

Commercial Observer reports Burlington Stores, formerly known as Burlington Coat Factory, signed a 31,717-square-foot retail lease at 25 Navy Street in the Brooklyn Navy Yard, according to city records filed Tuesday evening.

The outlet said the lease covers an 11,385-square-foot ground-floor portion and the entire 20,332-square-foot second floor of a two-story development between Sands Street and Flushing Avenue, which borders the Wegmans-anchored shopping center at Admiral’s Row on an 8-acre mixed-use campus.

Commercial Observer added that the retailer’s upcoming occupancy will leave 7,000 square feet still available, based on marketing materials, and that the lease runs for 10 years with options to renew.

The article also said asking rent was not disclosed, and that opening is planned for fall 2027.
