Burlington to convert Conn’s HomeStore in Southwest Houston

Burlington will take over a retail space in Southwest Houston that was vacated after recent corporate bankruptcies, stepping in to convert a Conn’s HomeStore location, according to ConnectCRE.

The company is moving forward with a commercial renovation at 8201 S Gessner Drive at the Gessner Center, covering a 39,774-square-foot interior remodel to create a new Burlington store.

ConnectCRE reports that Burlington is aiming to bring its off-price, treasure-hunt shopping format to the area, offering discounted apparel, home goods, and accessories.

ConnectCRE adds that Burlington’s expansion plans include 115 new openings by 2028.
