America’s top insurance employers scored at least 75% satisfaction

The rankings’ satisfaction results ranged from 4.0 to 4.6 out of five across firms of different sizes, from a 4,000-person wholesale brokerage to a 67-person retail agency.

Insurance Business America says its Top Insurance Employers 2026 recognizes insurance organizations spanning a range of sizes, from a national wholesale brokerage with about 4,000 employees to retail agencies with 67 staffers.

To qualify, companies needed an average employee satisfaction rating of at least 75%, based on compensation and benefits, culture, and development, according to the publication.

This year’s satisfaction scores ranged from 4.02 to 4.58 out of five, and the ranking details what employees value most and what top employers are doing differently.

The story also frames the list as part of broader industry coverage aimed at keeping readers informed about breaking news and analysis in insurance.
