Bitcoin holds above $84,000 as US bond yields retreat

The Cointelegraph story ties the move to a pullback in 10-year yields from a 2002 high, easing from 5.342% to 5.251%.

Bitcoin rose above $84,000 around Thursday’s Wall Street open, as US bond yields retreated after hitting fresh multi decade highs, according to Cointelegraph.

Cointelegraph also reported that BTC/USD preserved a pattern of higher lows on hourly time frames and was up 0.6% on the day at the time of writing.

On the rates side, the outlet said the US 10-year yield reached 5.342%, the level last seen in April 2002, before dropping to 5.251% by the time of writing. It also said the US 30-year yield set a new macro high.
