CBC Underwriters files trademark for school-focused ABCover brand

The trademark application, filed September 17, seeks coverage-related services including insurance agency services and property and casualty underwriting.

CBC Underwriters has filed a trademark application for ABCover, an insurance brand focused on school districts, according to Coverager.

ABCover’s website lists two offerings, staff absence coverage that reimburses districts when employees are absent, and student accident coverage.

Coverager reports that the company says the coverage is backed by insurers in the global market, including underwriters at Lloyd’s of London.

The trademark application, filed September 17, covers insurance agency services, property and casualty underwriting, and insurance consulting, and it has not yet been examined.
