Gallagher adds transaction and warranty staff to its PEMA practice
The hires expand Gallagher’s Germany and Netherlands capabilities, including a new W&I associate director role in Amsterdam.
Gallagher, the global insurance broking and risk management company, has announced two appointments in its Private Equity and M&A, or PEMA, practice in Germany and the Netherlands as it continues its European expansion, Reinsurance News said.
Philip Frerks was appointed Head of Transaction Solutions, Germany, based in Frankfurt. Gallagher said Frerks will lead its transaction solutions offering in Germany after about a decade advising private equity and corporate clients on M&A related risks, and that he joins from Malakut Group where he served as Head of M&A.
The company also named Andrea Karkotis Associate Director, Warranty & Indemnity, Netherlands, as part of its growing PEMA team in Amsterdam, Reinsurance News reported.
Gallagher said the Germany and Netherlands appointments follow other recent hires for the PEMA practice in Europe, including Federica Marcabruni for Italy in June, Gabriella Eriksen Wingren for the Nordics in July, and Sarah Dezes and Charles Amblard arriving for France during the same period.
