Jio Platforms nears IPO launch as documents finalized
The proposed IPO is estimated at about $3.8 billion and would be Reliance's first public offering since 2008.
Jio Platforms is finalizing its IPO documents after completing global roadshows, with the proposed offering estimated at about $3.8 billion, according to LiveMint citing PTI.
The report says the roadshows were led by Jio Platforms managing director and Reliance Jio chairman Akash Ambani, along with Reliance Retail Ventures executive director Isha Ambani.
LiveMint reports the IPO would mark Reliance's first public offering since 2008 and the first IPO of a consumer-focused business within the conglomerate, bringing the group's flagship digital and telecom business to public markets for the first time.
The report also notes that the grey market premium will be known only after the company announces its IPO price band.
