U.S. diesel export ban could hit Latin America most, Goldman says
Goldman estimates U.S. diesel imports supply up to 50% of consumption in Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, and Peru.
Goldman Sachs said a potential U.S. ban on diesel exports would affect Latin America the most, even as some reporting suggests Europe would face the biggest impact.
According to a Goldman note quoted by Reuters, U.S. diesel imports cover as much as 50% of diesel consumption across Mexico, Ecuador, Chile, and Peru.
