VIPR appoints Tom Boucher as Non-Executive Chair after Bridgepoint investment
VIPR said Boucher will help the company expand internationally and build out its AI capabilities as adoption of its delegated authority platform accelerates.
VIPR Solutions, a specialist insurance technology company serving the Delegated Authority market, appointed Tom Boucher as its new Non-Executive Chair, following Bridgepoint Growth’s investment in the business, according to Reinsurance News.
Boucher will work with VIPR Co-Founder and CEO Paul Templar and the management team as VIPR expands its international presence, enhances its artificial intelligence capabilities, and aims to improve the speed and simplicity of adopting its platform.
The company said Boucher brings more than three decades of experience across software, technology, data, and insurance, including senior leadership roles such as CFO and Chair.
Reinsurance News also noted that his experience includes Sequel Business Solutions, a software provider for commercial and specialty insurance that is now part of Verisk, and that he was previously backed by Hg where he became an Operating Partner, with additional involvement in four private equity exits.
