Risk & Insurance says legislation alone is not solving the problem, with 22 states now having some form of regulatory framework for workplace violence reporting in healthcare settings, and California and Nevada leading on stringency.
At the National Comp conference in Las Vegas on Sept. 29, a panel of experts discussed why incidents are climbing and what employers may be missing in their prevention systems.
