Alliant formalizes integrated risk advisory for data center projects
The new service is designed to evaluate financial exposures from pre-construction through operations and maintenance.
Alliant Insurance Services has formalized an integrated risk advisory offering for developers, owners, investors, and contractors working on hyperscale infrastructure and data center projects, bringing together construction and power expertise under one service.
According to Coverager, the offering uses proprietary historical data drawn from hundreds of digital infrastructure projects totaling nearly $1 trillion in project value, and it is intended to help clients assess financial exposures from pre-construction through operations and maintenance.
The advisory evaluates how site design, power grid dependencies, and supply chain concentrations can affect project availability, schedules, and financial performance, and it supports decisions on which risks to mitigate, retain, transfer through contracts, or insure.
Coverager reports that the offering also brings together specialists across construction, power and energy, environmental risk, cyber, real estate, surety, trade credit, cargo and marine insurance, alongside contract review capabilities.
