TRUMP meme coin invites top holders to Nov. 22 gala with Trump
The event will seat the top 185 registered holders, with VIP reception for the top 29 and an 18-karat gold Trump watch for the top four.
President Donald Trump is hosting another event for supporters of the TRUMP meme coin, after a recent ethics dispute over his crypto interests stalled key legislation, Decrypt reports. The TRUMP meme coin’s official account on X announced a “gala dinner” with Trump and three unnamed “superstars” scheduled for Nov. 22.
The dinner will be held at Trump National, the Washington-area Virginia golf club that hosted the token’s first dinner last year. Seats will go to the top 185 registered holders, ranked using a time-weighted score that favors holding more tokens for longer, with a final snapshot on Nov. 12.
According to the event page run by Fight Fight Fight LLC, the company behind the coin, the top 29 holders will get a VIP reception with Trump and one guest “legend,” and the top four will receive an 18-karat gold Trump watch. The page also says no attendees will be granted a private meet and greet with the President.
The announcement arrives just over two weeks after the Clarity Act, intended to set federal rules for crypto markets, failed a key procedural vote in the Senate, 49-50. Decrypt notes the vote setback followed a fight over Trump’s crypto interests.
