Bajaj Finance shares rise 3% after fundraise boosts sentiment
The stock opened at ₹962.55 on the NSE and peaked at ₹995.80 per share.
Bajaj Finance shares gained about 3% after a four-session slide, with the stock opening higher at ₹962.55 on the NSE and reaching an intraday high of ₹995.80.
LiveMint Markets said the rally was driven by expectations around a proposed ₹17,500 crore fundraise, including ₹11,700 crore via a QIP and ₹5,800 crore through a preferential issue of warrants to the promoter and holding company, Bajaj Finserv.
With the move, the shares were last up roughly 3% versus Thursday's close of ₹948.30, as market experts remained bullish and pointed to both fundamental and technical support for continued strength.
