Bill would bar federal candidates from trading election prediction markets
CNBC reports a House Democrat has introduced a bill aimed at prediction market trades tied to federal elections.
The proposal would ban federal candidates from trading prediction market contracts related to their own elections.
According to CNBC, the bill also sets a fine for violations of the restriction.
