Crypto rallies into October as Bitcoin and Ethereum gain

Spot Bitcoin funds pulled in $134.4 million over the first two months, after a $148.7 million September outflow.

Decrypt reports that crypto markets are starting October higher, with Bitcoin up 2.07% on Sunday to $86,500 and up 8.57% over the past month.

Ethereum was last at $2,720, up 11.05% over thirty days, and Decrypt said nearly everything in the top ten is trading green.

The outlet also pointed to spot Bitcoin fund flows, saying they took in $31.7 million on the day, $102.7 million on Thursday, for $134.4 million for the month so far, following a two-day streak after September ended with a $148.7 million outflow.

On the altcoin side, Decrypt said Pump.fun was up 26.2% and LayerZero gained 19.8%, while Sky and Aave were up double digits on the week, and it noted the SEC position that token buybacks do not make a token a security if the network works.
