Branch reorganizes its independent agency team to speed service
Branch said it plans new tools in coming months to help agents quote and bind more business.
Branch is restructuring its independent agency channel, impacting multiple employees, according to a LinkedIn post by JC Ibanez, a senior agency success manager at Branch, and a response Branch provided to Coverager.
Branch said the reorganization is meant to deliver faster service and provide agency partners more ways to grow their business, and it plans to introduce tools in the coming months to help agents quote and bind more policies.
The reciprocal insurer managed by Branch, Branch Insurance Exchange, reported $42.2 million in written premium for the first half of 2026, up 8.6% year over year. Its net underwriting loss widened to $15.3 million from $14.2 million a year earlier, with homeowners insurance accounting for about 63% of written premium.
Branch also recently launched Ember Mutuals in partnership with Innovated Holdings, a platform that provides technology and operational support to legacy mutual insurers, according to the same report.
