ING appoints new insurance leaders in global and EMEA roles
Tom Duncan will shape ING’s global insurance strategy and coordinate across key markets, while Lauren Marshall will oversee execution of the insurer’s EMEA insurance efforts.
ING has bolstered its insurance franchise with appointments for both global and EMEA leadership, naming Tom Duncan as Global Lead Insurance and Lauren Marshall as EMEA Lead Insurance, according to Reinsurance News.
Duncan’s role includes shaping ING’s global insurance strategy and coordinating activities across key markets, working with regional teams and local sector experts to help clients access ING’s international network.
ING said Duncan brings more than two decades of insurance banking experience, most recently as Managing Director and Head of Insurance for Europe and Asia at CIBC, after earlier senior leadership roles at HSBC, including Head of Insurance Coverage for Asia-Pacific.
As EMEA Lead Insurance, Marshall is tasked with overseeing execution of ING’s regional insurance efforts, with responsibilities focused on running the strategy in the EMEA market.
