Jim Rickards warns that stablecoins could disrupt the bond market

In the commentary, Rickards argues gold could reach $10,000 by mid-2027 as central bank buying supports the metal and changes dollar dynamics.

Bitcoin Magazine published remarks from Jim Rickards saying stablecoins are dangerous for the bond market.

In the same discussion, Rickards said gold could rise to $10,000 sooner than many analysts expect, describing it as “fifth grade math” that would require only an 11.0% move from $9,000 to $10,000.

The commentary also attributes a floor under gold to central bank buying and says a strong dollar, along with a falling gold price, does not align with claims from the “debasement” crowd.

Bitcoin Magazine frames its outlook as a case for $10,000 gold by mid-2027.
