Millennium Management hires Nick Howard as senior adviser in London

Howard has nearly four decades of experience, including roles at the Federal Reserve, JPMorgan and Barclays, and he left Santander in late July to join Millennium.

Millennium Management has added veteran fixed-income executive Nick Howard as a senior adviser in London, expanding the multi-strategy hedge fund's roster of experienced industry figures as it strengthens its UK operation, according to Hedgeweek.

Howard brings almost four decades of experience across central banking, investment banking and hedge funds, and his earlier career began at the Federal Reserve before senior roles at JPMorgan, Salomon Brothers and Barclays.

He later joined Rokos Capital Management, serving as chief executive and chief risk officer, and then left Rokos in 2023 for Santander, where he held a dual role covering senior relationship management for markets and economics and fixed-income, currencies and commodities strategy.

Hedgeweek reports Howard was involved in building out Santander's senior economics and markets capabilities, including recruiting Antonio Garcia Pascual from the International Monetary Fund as global head of economics, and that Howard departed Santander in late July before joining Millennium.
