Netweb Technologies shares jump on Dalal Street rebound

The stock moved as much as 3.7% intraday, after opening at ₹4,543 and touching ₹4,697 on Oct. 5.

Netweb Technologies shares surged on Monday on India’s National Stock Exchange, rising as much as 3.7% during the intraday session amid positive sentiments on Dalal Street, according to LiveMint Markets.

The stock opened at ₹4,543 per share, versus the previous close of ₹4,520.30 on Thursday, and later hit an intraday high of ₹4,697 on Oct. 5, while trading activity also picked up.

The rally coincided with a broader market rebound, with India’s Sensex rising more than 400 points, while the Nifty traded above the 22,500 level.

LiveMint Markets also noted that around 5.77 lakh shares changed hands during the intraday session on Monday. The stock was up 1.13% over the past week but down 11.07% over the one-month period.
