Ong Bi Ying named CEO of Allianz Insurance Singapore starting Oct. 1, 2026

The appointment follows the departure of Hicham Raissi, and Allianz highlighted Bi Ying’s prior role as Chief Operating Officer since joining the company in 2019.

Global insurer Allianz has appointed Ong Bi Ying as Chief Executive Officer of Allianz Insurance Singapore Pte Ltd, effective October 1, 2026, according to Reinsurance News.

The new CEO succeeds Hicham Raissi, who is departing Allianz Insurance Singapore to pursue opportunities outside the Allianz Group. Raissi said in a company quote that it was a privilege to lead the business and that he is confident the company is in good hands with Bi Ying.

Reinsurance News also reports that Bi Ying joined Allianz Insurance Singapore in 2019 and has held progressively senior roles, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer. The firm said she has been involved in strengthening the company’s operations and capabilities.

Allianz Asia Pacific Regional CEO Anusha Thavarajah said Bi Ying’s understanding of the company and the Singapore market positions her to lead the insurer into its next chapter, and she thanked Raissi for his contributions.
