Orient Cables soars 65% on IPO debut, AceVector falls 11.5%
The four IPOs that debuted on October 5 saw Orient Cables list at a 64.7% BSE premium, while AceVector, backed by Snapdeal parent AceVector, opened about 11.5% below its IPO price on the NSE.
Four companies debuted in new IPO listings on Monday, October 5, with widely mixed first day performance across exchanges, according to LiveMint Markets.
Orient Cables was the top mover, jumping 65.4% to list at ₹450 on the NSE versus an IPO price of ₹272, and it debuted at ₹448.10 on the BSE for a 64.7% premium.
German Green Steel & Power followed with a modest gain, listing at ₹142 on the NSE against an issue price of ₹139 for a 3.0% premium, and at ₹143.50 on the BSE for a 3.2% premium.
Runwal Enterprises opened basically flat, starting at ₹305 on the NSE at its IPO price and at ₹306 on the BSE, a 0.3% premium, while AceVector posted the weakest debut, listing at ₹28.30 on the BSE against a ₹32 IPO price for an 11.6% discount, and opening at ₹28.32 on the NSE, down 11.5%.
