Rokstone launches US errors and omissions insurance platform
The initial excess E&O offering will be backed by $5 million of A-rated capacity from Builders Insurance.
Rokstone, part of Aventum Group, has launched a US financial lines platform focused initially on errors and omissions insurance, with operations based in New York. Coverager reports the new platform targets small and midsize businesses through a digital trading process, while offering open-market placement for larger and more complex accounts.
The platform is led by James Hebert, who joined after a decade at AIG, including financial lines underwriting experience and more than eight years in claims, according to Coverager. The initial E&O coverage will be written on an excess basis and backed by $5 million in A-rated capacity from Builders Insurance.
Rokstone will use ATOMX, Aventum’s proprietary technology, to support quoting, binding, and policy issuance. The company plans to expand into other financial lines including D&O, cyber, financial institutions, and M&A, and has appointed Jackie Lan as Senior Underwriter in its Singapore marine team, Coverager said.
