Sterlite Technologies shares surge 860% YTD after LTSA
The telecom infrastructure maker said a wholly owned unit signed an LTSA with a hyperscale partner for optical connectivity products from 2026 to 2030, with a potential value near $1.2 billion.
A telecom infrastructure stock has rallied about 860% year-to-date, according to LiveMint Markets, turning a ₹10.42 lakh investment into nearly ₹1 crore in nine months. LiveMint also noted brokerage firm Nirmal Bang expects additional upside of roughly 40%.
The company behind the move is Sterlite Technologies, which provides end-to-end solutions for building AI-ready infrastructure, including FTTx as well as rural and enterprise networks, and delivers its solutions in more than 100 countries.
In trading on Monday, 5 October, the shares hit a 52-week high of ₹989.70, rising nearly 4% after hitting upper circuits for three straight sessions.
On 1 October, Sterlite Technologies said one of its wholly owned subsidiaries entered a long-term supply agreement with a hyperscale partner, covering optical connectivity products in each calendar year from 2026 to 2030, with a total potential contract value of nearly $1.2 billion based on prevailing selling prices.
