Stripe plans to expand stablecoin cards to 100+ countries

Stripe said it is exploring tokenized deposits and DeFi use cases alongside the card rollout.

Payments company Stripe plans to expand its stablecoin cards to more than 100 countries by the end of the year, CoinDesk reported.

CoinDesk said Stripe is also exploring additional crypto-linked products, including tokenized deposits and potential DeFi use cases.

The companys plans were attributed to its newly appointed crypto head, Henri Stern, according to CoinDesk.
