Vacant Fulton Market industrial building sells for $2.75 million

The $2.75 million sale brings a redevelopment plan for 20 apartments and about 3,300 square feet of retail at 167 N. Morgan St.

A vacant three-story industrial building in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood, 167 N. Morgan St., has sold for $2.75 million, according to ConnectCRE.

CBRE represented the seller in the transaction, and Hubbard Street Group is the buyer.

ConnectCRE reports the buyer plans to redevelop the property into a mixed-use building, adding 20 apartments above approximately 3,300 square feet of ground-floor retail.

The site is located on Morgan Street between Randolph and Lake streets, steps from the Morgan CTA station, in a neighborhood ConnectCRE describes as highly active.
