Freddie Mac names John Glessner as chief risk officer
Freddie Mac said Anil Hinduja’s employment ended Oct. 1, 2026, and John Glessner took over the same day without any change in compensation.
Freddie Mac said in an SEC filing that executive vice president and chief risk officer Anil Hinduja’s employment ended on Oct. 1, 2026, according to HousingWire.
On that same date, Freddie Mac moved John Glessner, previously EVP of investments and capital markets, into the chief risk officer role, and the company reported no change in compensation.
HousingWire reported that the filing did not specify whether Hinduja resigned or was terminated, and it noted that Hinduja had led enterprise-wide risk management since taking the CRO position, including oversight of credit, market, liquidity, operational, model, and regulatory compliance risks.
Glessner joined Freddie Mac in 2010 and had previously held senior roles, HousingWire said.
