Amir Taaki says he was questioned for hours and deported from Singapore
Taaki also said he has faced trouble with certain countries since time spent fighting in Syria years ago.
Bitcoin Magazine reports that Amir Taaki, an early Bitcoin contributor known for work on privacy, says he was questioned for six hours by Singapore authorities before being deported.
The outlet says Taaki claimed the questioning focused on what he works on, and he alleged that related accusations have been brought against his friends, including claims he described as involving money laundering.
Bitcoin Magazine also notes that Taaki said he has been in trouble with certain countries since spending time in Syria fighting with the Kurdish People’s Protection Units, and that his current work involves crypto privacy.
