Inspectform launches ChatGPT app for property data searches

The startup said the app lets users search U.S. addresses for property updates such as permit histories for building systems, using approved access and existing Inspectform credits.

Inspectform, a property analytics startup, has introduced a ChatGPT app aimed at helping insurance professionals find property information needed for applications and Statements of Values (SOVs). Coverager reports that the app can connect to a user’s Inspectform account and search U.S. addresses for property updates, including available permit histories for roofs, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.

The app is designed to return source linked findings tied to construction, occupancy, protection, and exposure (COPE), and it is built to surface decades of property records that can be hard to locate. Coverager also notes that data coverage and freshness can vary by property and source.

Inspectform said searches require approved access and use an organization’s existing Inspectform credits. Coverager adds that Inspectform is also described as providing AI powered roof condition reports for insurers and received a $50,000 seed funding round from BrokerTech Ventures in March 2026.
