Marsh Re appoints new co-heads for Middle East in Dubai
The reinsurance broker said Nathalie Zaatar and Talal Sharif are based in Dubai and bring nearly four decades of combined insurance and reinsurance experience.
Global reinsurance broker Marsh Re has appointed Nathalie Zaatar and Talal Sharif as the new co-heads for the Middle East, with both set to be based in Dubai, according to Reinsurance News.
Marsh Re said the pair bring nearly four decades of combined insurance and reinsurance experience, with Zaatar most recently serving for more than five years as a Senior Vice President for Treaty at Marsh in Dubai.
The outlet also noted that Zaatar began her career in 1999 as a non-life underwriter and has held roles including retail broker and treaty placing broker, and she currently serves as General Manager of Treaty for NASCO Karaoglan for DIFC.
For Sharif, Reinsurance News said he most recently worked as an SVP for IMEA at Marsh Re, a role he held for three years based in Dubai, after prior work as a treaty broker at a prior firm.
