Meta and Sierra develop tech standards for AI bot interactions

Meta is working with OpenAI Chairman Bret Taylor’s startup Sierra, along with other companies, to build a set of technical standards aimed at reducing the “chaos” involved in doing business with AI bots, CNBC Markets reports.

The effort is framed as a way to make it easier to conduct business with AI bots, by setting shared standards for how these systems interact.
